Ascension Day, start of our trip
It's Ascension Day and we had a good and hearty breakfast after getting up! Then the "perishables" taken out of the fridge and put with the other small things that we still have to take into the camper.

Fortunately, we have it from Austria no longer so far to Italy, now that we live in Austria.
We want to go to Tuscany and started today, Saturday and went at least to Lake Garda to "Riva del Garda".

Two years ago we were already here, but directly on the alpine campsite near Achenkirch. Here we also made our decision to turn our backs on Germany and move to Austria.

At our last weekend trip we had already planned to go to Kaunertal this weekend. - So it worked out!
We drove with our motorhome to Platz. The place is a few minutes away from the entrance to the Kaunertal.

  

We made extra early closing time, the motorhome already rigged the night before and drove across the border to Steibis to the motorhome site #4674.

A long week of Lake Como is over
...but we have not regretted the week despite the sometimes lousy weather in the afternoon!

Here in Vorarlberg is already the first snow down to 1,150 mtr. Our vacation route is again Croatia and as a destination we have chosen Dubrovnik. Whether we get there, we do not know.

Vacation tip/excursion destination: The Paxmal on Lake Walen (CH)
If you are not afraid of narrow roads, you can drive your motorhome up almost to the Paxmal and also park at the top. The view of Lake Walen from the upper parking lot is magnificent.
