On a summery weekend at the end of October, we took a great and varied trip to Alsace and the Vosges. Cute museum villages, relaxing and panoramic mountain hikes, picturesque wine villages and medieval towns awaited us and fully inspired us.

  

Through a travel guide, which we had found in an open bookcase, we came a long time ago on the destination Sardinia. Many positive and enthusiastic reports from acquaintances and on the net let mature in us the plan to explore this island once with our camper.

  

With the motorhome for two weeks through France, with consistent, beautiful and late summer weather with pleasant temperatures and sunshine. The time of the biggest hustle and bustle of the high season is over and the most popular tourist attractions can be enjoyed relaxed. An all around successful tour. But read for yourself ...

  

We have never been to Sardinia and many had already told us about the wonderful landscape. In most guidebooks the tours in Sardinia are always described from Livorno to Olbia and "clockwise".

  

Originally it was supposed to be Switzerland, but due to the weather it was decided to go to Italy. One look at a well-known app and the destination of the trip was already fixed. The Ahrntal and as a stopover Sterzing.

  

A week of vacation and like every year we want to spend it again in our favorite region South Tyrol, more precisely on the campsite in Kaltern am See.

  

The date for the meeting in Lofer has now arrived.This morning we started in Vorarlberg. We preferred the highway because we wanted to be in Lofer quite early.

  

We start again with our motorhome on a small tour from Saturday to Sunday on it. It goes to Venice on a campsite "in an exceptional location" and after a design by Carlo Scarpa. Meaning: The campsite is actually in the port area and you look but on the lagoon of Venice.

  

After work we started to load our VW camper. Fill up with fresh water, gas bottle, fill the toilet, put away food and clothes. Then we are ready to go to Italy. An eventful journey begins.

  

Ascension Day, start of our trip
It's Ascension Day and we had a good and hearty breakfast after getting up! Then the "perishables" taken out of the fridge and put with the other small things that we still have to take into the camper.
